Collection of 12 TLSs, all one page, all on FBI letterhead, each signed by a former FBI Director. Five are signed “J. Edgar Hoover,” ranging in date from 1949–1964; three are signed “L. Patrick Gray III,” as acting director, dated from 1972–1973; and four signed “C. M. Kelly,” dating from 1973–1976.
