Der Ling writes, in full: “I am very glad that you liked ‘Old Budda.’ Have you also read my ‘Two Years in the Forbidden City’? My signature is given below, and if you care to bring copies of my book to the house, either your own or those purchased by your friends, I would be glad to autograph them and affix my seals in addition.” In very good condition, with intersecting folds, two areas of separation along the central vertical fold, scattered light creasing, and uniform toning, with some heavier areas along the folds.
