Description

Lumiere’s entry measures 3.25 x 1, and is affixed to a 7.5 x 7.25 sheet. Lumiere has amended his entry by crossing out “chemist” and adding, in French, “physicist chemist Member of the Institut de France,” and signing underneath, “Louis Lumiere.” Intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, a stray ink mark through last name of signature, and scattered light soiling, otherwise fine condition.
