In part: “I have been out all the morning trying to arrange matters but cannot for which both Dr. Sinsworth & myself are very sorry. Several difficulties…are in the way. As for Dr. Sinsworth he would be willing but the members of the Board of Control have made arrangements to come next Friday & then cannot be broken on my part…I have lost my morning having been able to effort nothing by my rambles.” After his signature, Faraday includes a brief postscript.
