Nine vintage glossy and matte-finish 8 x 10 photos, all signed and inscribed in fountain pen and ink in-person by the respective actresses, including: Ann Sothern, Joan [Crawford], Adrienne Ames, Julie Bishop, Virginia Field, Fay Holden, Josephine Hutchinson, Pat Sully, and Anne Shirley. In overall fine condition, with heavy contrast to Sothern’s signature, scattered toning to the top of Virginia Field’s photo, light silvering to the darker areas of Hutchinson’s photo, and rippling to the edges of Sully’s photo and irregular ink adhesion to the signature. All of the photos, with the exception of Pat Sully’s, bear either an inked or stamped date from the collector on reverse, showing when the signature was acquired. Saul Goodman Collection.
