Businessman (1902-1984) who took over the small-scale McDonald's Corporation franchise in 1954 and built it into the most successful fast food operation in the world. Two items: ALS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, McDonald's letterhead, dated May 9, 1974. Kroc responds to a collector's request. In part: "I am very happy to autograph the two pieces you sent me. We are having a great year with Egg McMuffin-Big Mac and all the rest of our family."; and a panel from a box of McDonald's cookies, 5 x 2.75, signed in blue ballpoint, "Ray A.
