British monarch who ushered in the Restoration of 1660 and ruled until his 1685 death. Ink signature, “Charles R.,” on an off-white 3 x 1.25 slip. The reverse bears what appears to be a contemporary notation, “17 Sept. 1660.” Light toning, faint spotting, small piece of paper affixed to the reverse, and slight show-through from writing on the back, otherwise fine condition.
