Artifacts from each manned Apollo mission, almost all flight-flown

An extraordinary collection of flight-flown fragments from Apollo 7 through 17, as well as an Apollo 1 relic. All 12 fragments are set against a color composite image incorporating the Apollo 1 crew, John F. Kennedy, and the LEM, and housed in a 5.75 x 3.5 x 1 Lucite display. Items are as follows: Apollo 1 - A fragment of the floor tile covering the command room in the CX 34 blockhouse Apollo 7 - Flight flown swatch from the parachute of the Apollo 7 space capsule, originally acquired at a Superior space artifacts auction Apollo 8 - A swatch of thermo foil tape from the command module of Apollo 8. Originally acquired from the Jerald B. Wilken Space Collection. Wilken was Test Conductor for the second shift of the post flight test team. This piece was removed from the Command Module by the post flight test team of North American Rockwell Corporation at the Downey facility Apollo 9 - A piece of wire from a light cord on LM-3 and flown aboard Apollo 9. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Novaspace, signed by James McDivitt, from whose collection the wire originally came from Apollo 10 - A swatch of beta cloth from an Apollo 10 emblem patch that was carried by Spacecraft Commander Tom Stafford in his astronaut personal preference kit Apollo 11 - A small piece of cord from the main parachute cord of Apollo 11’s splashdown. This originates from a section of cord that was originally removed by recovery team member Charles Belcher and originates from his collection Apollo 12 - A swatch of Kapton foil of the Apollo 12 spacecraft Apollo 13 - A piece of a metal shim segment flown onboard the Apollo 13 command module Odyssey. The shim was used in the inside of the hatch Apollo 14 - A swatch of material carried onboard Apollo 14. Accompanied by a photocopied letter of presentation, signed by all three Apollo 14 crew members, presenting a piece of material to Harold G. Collins Apollo 15 - A clipped swatch of a lunar map carried into lunar orbit in the command module. The map originated from the personal collection of Commander Dave Scott Apollo 16 - A swatch of safety netting from the Apollo 16 lunar module Orion. The net was used to secure material inside the Orion during its three day stay on the lunar surface. Accompanied by a photocopied certificate of authenticity from Charlie Duke, from whose collection the net originated Apollo 17 - A swatch of polymide, based Kapton decal recovered from the exterior hatch of the Apollo 17 command module America Accompanied by a binder containing documentation about each piece, as well as the details of each mission.
