After the war he spent thirty years as President of City College of New York. DS, signed “Alex. S. Webb, Pres.,” one page, 8.5 x 4.75, September 10, 1886. Receipt for “20 Pecks Calculus,” signed at the bottom by Webb. Two vertical folds, one through a single letter of signature, uniform toning, and expected ink notations, otherwise fine condition.
