Excellent 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet portrait by Baker’s Art Gallery, Columbus, Ohio, showing the graying politician in suit and bow tie, signed in ink below the image on the mount, “John Sherman, Ohio, March 2/95.” In fine condition, with a few trivial surface marks and a short vertical crack passing through Sherman’s surname and date.
