Description

‘The King’ signs on his finale from the '68 Comeback Special

Special printing of the 45 rpm record “If I Can Dream,” signed and inscribed on the front cover of the sleeve, “To Sue, Love, Elvis Presley.” Light rings of wear to sleeve, and a few creases, otherwise fine condition. "If I Can Dream,” written by Walter Earl Brown, is notable for its direct quotations to Martin Luther King, Jr. It was recorded by Presley in June 1968, two months after King's assassination. The recording was first released to the public as the finale of Presley's '68 Comeback Special and was one of his dearest songs. The record is included. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RRAuction COA.
