Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 18 x 14, March 29, 1916. President Wilson appoints W. Irving Williams to the position of Postmaster of Rensselaer, New York. Signed at the conclusion by Wilson, and countersigned by Postmaster General Albert Burleson. Rolled and in very good condition, with even overall toning, and a couple areas of damp staining to edges.
