Partly-printed DS as president, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 15.5 x 9.5, September 20, 1827. President Adams signs a land grant for 160 acres to William Roberts in Indiana. Signed at the conclusion by Adams, and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. In very good condition, with some scattered light paper loss along intersecting storage folds, scattered toning and soiling, and a couple of edge chips. The paper seal is worn and partially intact, and Adams’s signature is bold and very prominent. RRAuction COA.
