Vintage matte-finish 8 x 11 Davis and Sanford photo, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen “To Alexander Young, with kind regards, Andrew Carnegie, January 8, 1919.” Also signed in pencil in the lower border by the photographer’s studio. Suede matted and framed to an overall size of 18.5 x 22.5. Moderate silvering to darker areas of image, otherwise fine condition. Quite uncommon in images this size. RRAuction COA.
