Original unsigned hand-inked 14 panel Nancy Sunday comic strip, with pasted on title, dated January 23, 1944, on a 24.5 x 16 piece of artist’s cardstock. Strip depicts Nancy enjoying reading Tom Thumb and thinking how wonderful it would be to be that small. After loaning the book to Sluggo, he takes a more literal attempt at understanding the book. In very good condition, with scattered soiling and notations to borders, and toning to pasted on title. The panels are mostly free from defects, with much of the border soiling easily matted out.
