Two items: vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo, signed in black ink, “Curtis E. LeMay, Gen. USAF”; and an FDC, bearing a cachet honoring Norway from the Occupied Nations Series, also signed in black ink. Cover also bears a typed notation reading “Released. No longer objectionable to censorship.” Accompanied by a 1956 TLS from LeMay’s assistant, acknowledging the photo. In fine condition, with areas of light toning to cover, and a paperclip impression to top edge. RRAuction COA.
