Queen Consort to Edward VII of England (1844–1925) and mother of George V. ALS signed “Alexandra,” one page, on a 3.5 x 5.5 picture postcard of Alexandra and her sister on a balcony, no date. Letter of thanks to Bessie on behalf of her and her sister. In part: “Here is a little card with myself & my sister…We both thank you…I do hope you are really better now & much stronger after that long rest.” Some mild toning to correspondence side, and some scattered light surface loss to image side, otherwise fine condition.
