Your expression of support is most gratifying to receive, and I only hope that I will continue to merit the confidence and approval of Americans like you. At your request, it is a pleasure for me to enclose, herewith, the Time cover with my signature”; and the cover from the December 2, 1957, issue of Time, featuring Kennedy on the cover, signed in blue ballpoint by Kennedy.
