Partly printed DS, signed “Victoria R,” one page on vellum, 13 x 9, April 3, 1845. An appointment for John Cuthbert Murray as “Ensign in Our Sixty-seventh Regiment of Foot.” Two seals remain intact in the left margin. In very good condition, with vertical folds, scattered light soiling and toning, slight fading and discoloration of signature (which remains clearly visible), and pencil mark to first letter.
