Handwritten manuscript relating a story of Shakespeare’s involvement in creating the King James Bible after Seeger had read a refutation on the subject in a book by Richard Lederer, two lightly lined pages, 8.25 x 11, signed at the top of the first page “Pete Seeger, Nov. 2004.” Accompanied by an ALS from Seeger to Lederer dated November 11, 2004, which reads, in part: “I send you 2 copies of this short story, hoping you can correct or add to one copy & send it back to me. I’ve told it to many, but now I’ve wrote [sic] it down….” Also included is a brief note from Lederer presenting the manuscript. Mild handling wear, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
