In part: “I … enclose you the printed speech made by me at New York May 30th ult[imo]. I believe it is literally correct. In that instance I took the precaution to write out what I intended to say & had it printed on slips—so that the Tribune and other papers had it…” Matted and framed with a handsome portrait engraving to an overall size of 17 x 14.25.
