This note is to wish you good luck ’tho from all I hear you won’t need it. As I have often said ‘Every once in a lifetime along comes a Judy Garland.’ And that still goes….” The letter likely relates to the 1948 film Easter Parade, in which Garland costarred with Fred Astaire, and which included 17 of Berlin’s songs.
