Description

Thomas Edison

ALS in pencil signed “Edison,” one lightly page, 5 x 8, dated in another hand November 2, 1920. Edison writes to [Jaffrey P.] Buchanan, manager of his record disc division. In full: “It has occurred to me that if we take air for the booths from end of 24 oven roof of blank mkg. we shall get lots of blank dust in booths & this dust will float out into building and get on moulds….” After signing, he adds a postscript, signing it “E”: “Suggest getting air somewhere else & changing position of blower. Will want these booths soon so quick action is desirable.” Light even toning and slightly irregular top edge, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
