TLS signed “Houdini,” one page, 8.5 x 5.25, personal letterhead, April 20, 1926. Houdini writes to “My dear Emerson.” In part: “The letter with a page from Vanity Fair to hand and it was an agreeable surprise. By this time you are back home with the kiddies and rabbits. We stay here until May 1st, then play a split week, three days at the Goodyear Theatre, Akron, Ohio and three days in Harrisburg, Pa., then on to New York….” In very good condition, with light scattered creasing, soiling, staining, and wrinkling, no faults affecting the clear, dark signature.
