Collection of signed items in various formats, most obtained in the 1950s and 1960s by an employee of the famous Borscht Belt resort Grossinger’s. Several of the items are inscribed; a few bear multiple signatures. Included: slips, cards, and album pages signed by M[enachem] Begin (five); Sonny Tufts; Dennis O’Keefe; Ginger Rogers (pencil); Robert Taylor; George Burns; Fred MacMurray; and Kirk Douglas. Also: Menus and newsletters signed by Kim Novak; Doris Day; and Day with Leonard Sillman. Also: Photos (including candids) signed (some on the reverse) by Linda Darnell; Jane Russell; Paul Henreid; John Garfield; Moss Hart; Joan Caulfield; Yogi Berra; Doris Day (two); and Van Johnson. In very good to fine condition, with scattered soiling, creasing, trimming, and handling wear, and a few items with irregular ink flow, dings and surface impressions, fading, or collector’s notations.
