I take pleasure in telling you that I did purchase a copy of the Stuart Athenaeum Washington [i.e., the familiar “dollar bill” portrait of the first president by Gilbert Stuart], as you were informed….” In very good condition, with edge separations at mailing folds, a few small tears, wrinkling (slightly touching a letter or two of signature), and mild soiling.
