TLS as president, one page, 7 x 9, White House letterhead, March 31, 1906. Letter concerning troops in Rhode Island of illegal poaching. In full: “That is very interesting. I am glad to hear that the deer of Rhode Island have done so well. I have at once called for a report as to the alleged poaching by the United States soldiers.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope and related paperwork.
