Vintage glossy 5.5 x 7.5 photo in an 8 x 10 mat, signed in ink on the mat “Winston S. Churchill, 1946.” The reverse bears a 1946 TLS signed “W. Kelsey Fry,” which reads, in part: “I am delighted to have been able to obtain Churchill’s signature for you, as I know you will appreciate it. Most of over here think he is a grand man, and I know you will treasure his photograph in signature….” Housed in a period (probably original) frame, so that both sides are visible, to an overall size of 9.25 x 11.25.
