Good ALS signed “Ron,” evidently a draft prepared for a secretary, one lightly lined page, 8.5 x 11, no date. Reagan writes to Paul. In full: “You are communicating with an ex-horse cavalryman. I see nothing wrong with a return to the horse. Some of my best friends are horses and a few only make it halfway. If you and I are headed back to 1880 let’s do it by horse—I’ve never seen a horse equipped with a telephone. Seriously—thanks for remembering me & I’m happy to have the souvenir envelope.
