American actor (1920–1980) best remembered as the character “Farina” in the Our Gang film shorts of the 1920s and early ’30s. At the end of his decade-long stint with the series in 1931, Hoskins was the most popular and highest paid of the juvenile stars in the series. Scarce vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 photo of the young Hoskins in a sailor suit at the height of his juvenile popularity, signed in ink “Allen ‘Farina’ Hoskins.” Light silvering to dark portions and a hint of subtle edge wear, otherwise fine condition.
