Three vintage linen-finish picture postcards, including one from the Hollywood Canteen, signed on both sides in pencil (a few also inscribing) by Joe E. Brown, Fifi D’Orsay (two), Jinx Falkenburg, Judy Garland, Doris Kenyon (two), Kay Kyser, Hedy Lamarr (four), Dottie Lamour (two), John Loder, Jeanette MacDonald, Fred MacMurray, Lon McCallister, Roddy McDowall, Pat O’Brien, Walter Pidgeon, Basil Rathbone (three), Anne Shirley (two), and Shirley Temple (ink). Some of the multiples are on opposite sides of the same card. Also included is a mailing envelope with an original self-portrait profile sketch, signed and inscribed by J. Scott Smart as the “Fat Man.” In good to very good condition, with scattered creases touching some signatures, a number of the signatures overlapping, signatures variously contrasted against backgrounds, and mild soiling.
