Burr,” 7.5 x 9, March 3, 1800. Letter to John J. Dickinson arranging ameeting. In part: “Being obliged to leave Albany on Wednesday and unable to find leisure to see you at Lausingburgh. I hope it may be convenient to you to ride to this place tomorrow-as our business may take some hours; it will be best that you come early…You can sit in my room till Alexis shall bring me which will be but a few minutes.” Letter appears to be affixed to a slightly larger sheet of cardboard. Matted and framed with a typescript of the letter and a small biography, to an overall size of 23.5 x 19.5. In fine condition, with intersecting folds, and some scattered light foxing and wrinkling.
