In full, “I send you my autograph with much pleasure.” Integral second page bears an address panel in Van Buren’s hand, “Mr. Joseph R. Winchell, Greenfield, Missouri,” and franked in the upper portion “Free,” with signature underneath having been removed at an earlier time. In good condition, with intersecting folds, scattered toning and soiling, a couple small tape repairs, and adhesive and mounting remnants to second page.
