TLS signed “Wm. H. Taft,” one page, 8 x 10.5, Supreme Court letterhead, August 22, 1929. Taft writes from Pointe-au-Pic, Canada, to Elton Campbell in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. In part: “I have several copies of the Taft family tree, and therefore do not need another. I thank you for your kindness in proffering it to me….” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
