Very nice DS as president, signed “Wm. H. Taft,” one page, 15.5 x 19.25, April 13, 1911. President Taft appoints Harry Knox “a Rear Admiral in the Navy on the Retired List.” Boldly signed at the bottom in black ink by Taft, and countersigned by his acting Secretary of the Navy.
