From president Tyler, “It affords me pleasure to comply with the polite request…by furnishing you my autograph.”

ALS as president, one page, 8 x 10, December 27, 1842. Letter to a gentleman at Brown University complying with an autograph request. In full, “It affords me pleasure to comply with the polite request made in your note of the 30th Nov. last, by furnishing you my autograph.” In fine condition, with intersecting mailing folds, a couple slightly affecting signature, and some mild toning.
