Manuscript DS as president, three sides of two pages, 10 x 13.5, November 23, 1900. Scarce Senate resolution, prepared in attractive black and red calligraphy. In part, “In Article II…insert after ‘larceny’ provided that the value of the property or the amount of money so embezzled or stolen is not less than $200 or 420 soles.” Signed at the conclusion in black ink by McKinley, and countersigned by Secretary of State John Hay.
