Original hand-inked six panel Mutt and Jeff daily comic strip, dated October 21, 1926, on a 30 x 11 piece of off-white artist’s cardstock. Strip shows Mutt trying an old college trick by kicking a can off his head at Jeff, with Jeff getting the last laugh. Signed in ink in the last panel, “Fisher,” and signed in the top border, “Mutt and Jeff - This is the little fellow’s idea of a pleasant time by Bud Fisher.” In very good condition, with scattered toning, tack holes to borders, several creases, and a rough bottom edge.
