Nice 3.25 x 5.5 postcard photo of Maris in his St. Louis Cardinals uniform, signed and inscribed in black ballpoint “To Tom, Best always, Roger Maris.” Double matted and framed with an 8 x 10 photo of Maris in his Yankees uniform, to an overall size of 12.75 x 21. Maris played his final two seasons with the Cardinals, helping them to pennants in 1967 and 1968 with a World Series victory in 1967 (he hit .385 in the post-season). Gussie Busch, owner of the Cardinals and of Anheuser-Busch, set Maris up with a beer distributorship after he retired. In fine condition, with a bit of mild contrast to first name of signature.
