Four items collectively representing all 12 X-15 test pilots: color satin-finish photo of an X-15 in flight, 7 x 5.25 on a blue 7.5 x 11 mat board mount, signed in various inks on the mount by nine, several adding their respective rank and/or affiliation: Scott Crossfield, Robert M. White, Neil A. Armstrong (adding “NASA”), Joe Engle, Bill Dana, William J. Knight, Robert Rushworth, Milt Thompson, and Forrest S. Petersen; pictorial collector’s cards signed by Mike Adams and John McKay; and a commemorative airmail cover signed by Joe Walker. A very subtle hint of edge wear to photo presentation, and subtle brush to Adams’s last name, otherwise fine, clean condition. This variant of Armstrong’s signature is uncommon, while all items signed by Adams, who died in a 1967 crash, are quite scarce. R&R COA.
