Hockey Hall of Famer who was the only NHL defenseman to win Hart Trophy as MVP four times (1933, ‘35, ‘36, ‘38) and led Boston Bruins to Stanley Cup titles in 1929 and '39. Three business checks drawn on the Springfield Hockey Association Inc. account, all 8.25 x 3, all filled out in another hand and signed by Shore, all from October 1964.
