AQS, in pencil, on an off-white 5.5 x 2.75 lightly-lined off-white slip, “True to friend & foe, W. F. Cody, Buffalo Bill, 1888.” A pencil notation in another hand reads, “Given to L. M. Thiery, June 11, 88, at S. I. Ferry 1 p.m.” In fine condition, with two vertical folds, one heavier than the other, some scattered mild toning, and Cody’s handwriting a bit shaky, perhaps due to signing on the ferry. R&R COA.
