Partly printed DS as president, signed “Wm. H. Taft,” one page, 20 x 16, December 21, 1909. An appointment for Frederic Muller as Receiver of Public Moneys at Santa Fe, New Mexico. Countersigned by Richard A. Ballinger as secretary of the interior. In good condition, with light soiling, staining to edges (touching a few letters of signature), pinholes at corners, mounting remnant to bottom margin, and light rippling. The signature is dark.
