Unsigned black felt tip notations in Lennon’s hand on the reverse of an 8.5 x 14 evangelical flyer titled “Open Letter to John Lennon,” circa 1969–1970. The text of the flyer reads, in part: “For over a year now I have listened to you sing about peace, watched your demonstrations for peace, and read your billboards and poetry for peace. You have an exceptional talent for commanding attention.
