In part: “Thanks for sending me the speech by John Vorys. I enclose a copy of a note I sent to him. I trust that your return to academic life has proved interesting and enjoyable for both you and your family. At the same time I hope that you won’t forget your old friends in Washington—especially the White House….” A carbon of the note Eisenhower alludes to is stapled to the letter.
