A promotion for John Dyer as “Captain in our First or the King’s Regiment of Dragoon Guards.” Countersigned by Henry Dundas. The embossed paper seal remains intact below the signature. In good to very good condition, with heavy intersecting creases (one with separation to blank margin), marginal “chewing” to left edge (well away from signature), light soiling and toning, and slightly irregular ink adhesion.
