Two items: original preliminary pencil sketch for a one-panel daily Dennis the Menace strip on a 7.75 x 10.5 sheet of imitation vellum, signed and inscribed in ballpoint, “For Patrick—Hank Ketcham”; and an original blue ink sketch of Dennis on an off-white 5 x 3 card, signed “Hank Ketcham & Dennis.” Accompanied by a 1982 letter of transmittal from Hank Ketcham Enterprses. Intersecting folds to first item (through image and touching “k” of signature), otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
