Early matte-finish photo of Rogers with his lariat, trimmed in size to 5 x 7.75, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To my friend Bert Cole from Old ‘Hoakum,’ Will Rogers, Claremore, Okla.” In good condition, with trimming as noted, ink inscription in another hand (dating item to 1915), soiling, creases, and pinhole below image.
