In part, “Our mutual friend…handed to me yesterday your letter…and also the two canes from the bark of the red-wood of commerce - one polished and the other in the rough. I beg to thank you, my dear sir, for this evidence of your respect and interest.” In fine condition, with some scattered light wrinkling, and a mild shade of overall toning.
