A document directed to the Bishop of London authorizing him to solicit donations “towards the support and relief of our said poor subjects” and providing for the distrubution of funds for the poor from the Royal Treasury. Countersigned “Portland” at the conclusion. In very good to fine condition, with intersecting folds (vertical fold to signature), light toning and soiling, and mild handling wear. R&R COA.
